Idil is an accomplished practitioner with over 7 years experience working in class actions and other representative proceedings. Idil has particularly extensive experience in securities class actions, but has acted for group members in a range of other claims.
Idil’s track record includes class actions against ASX listed entities, such as Bellamy’s Australia Ltd and Treasury Wine Estates Ltd. She has also administered the distribution of compensation to thousands of investors following the successful resolution of their claims.
Idil has contributed to the developments in the Australian class actions regime through the preparation of submissions to state and federal inquiries. She is a passionate advocate for diversity in the legal profession, championing and participating as a mentor in various programs for students and junior women from diverse backgrounds.
